Corporal Jordan Stanton
Jordan was an incredible athlete and inspiration to all that met him. His humor was very unique and was a fierce competitor but also humble at the same time.
Sergeant James Evan Ferry
Evan was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1987. He was an Eagle Scout with BSA Troop 149 in Thornton, PA. Following graduation from West Chester East High School, James joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He served as a Sergeant in the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion. After his honorable discharge, he enrolled in college while managing his father's restaurant, "Moriarty's" in Philadelphia, PA. He was an avid outdoorsman, proud supporter of the NRA and felt most comfortable in the wilderness sharing many adventures with his lifelong friends and his brothers.
Staff Sergeant Nathan Mcmillian
SSgt Nathaniel Ryan McMillan joined the Marinesright out of high school in 2003 and served in both Iraq (2006) and Afghanistan (2011-2012) Nathan lived life fully unleashed in every way. He was honored to serve his country and did so faithfully until he breathed his last on February 13, 2015. He left behind his wife Carie and their 3 daughters Havana, Lillian and Olivia who will forever miss him!
Sergeant Chris Foster
Chris had a unique personality and was the life of the party. No matter what the situation was, he felt the need to contribute and lighten the mood.
Gunnery Sergeant Gilbert Ibarra
GySgt Gilbert Ibarra dedicated 12 years of his life serving in the USMC. A tanker by trade, Gilbert was one of a kind and was an outgoing and funny guy. His smile brightened up any room and his personality made time fly bye.
Gunnery Sergeant Ryan Krochmolony
Ryan Michael Krochmolny Gunnery Sergeant USMC {Ret.} A lifetime of Honor, Courage, Loyalty, and Bravery. Ryan was the epitome of a Marine and had an illustrious career, beginning as a Team and Squad leader, Field Instructor, Chief Drill Instructor and Unit Leader as a Scout Sniper. During his many deployments, Ryan was a strong leader and someone all of his peers looked up to. While deployed to Afghanistan with the 3/5 Kilo group, Ryan exemplified his leadership and bravery. On three separate occasions, his leadership and unselfishness helped him save lives. Ryan was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat “V.”
The servicemembers you see above are the inspiration on why Operation Stay Golden came to be. Their lives and their commitment to duty made an everlasting impact on those who knew them. It is in their honor that we support veterans, first responders, and their families.
